We had a great time going to see the Astros
play the Cubs. Pat's very first Cubs
game
(for a lifetime fan). pictures At the end of 2001 we had decided to return
to Raleigh, and we found positions in IBM
there. After putting our house on the market,
we changed our minds and decided to stay
in Austin for now. It was not an easy decision
but we think it was a good one for us right
now. IBM moved the rest of our stuff from
Raleigh and we still ended up with a trailer
load of things which was wrapped up tightly!
Here Steve is unwrapping it after arriving
safely in Austin. One activity that Pat and I have enjoyed together is being involved in the Texas Mennonite Relief Sale. Here are pictures of the quilts auctioned in 2002. We have spent a lot of time helping the Ten Thousand Villages Store open here in Austin. Here is the offsite sales fixture that put together. |
